ZeniMax awarded US$500m in Oculus VR lawsuit

A US jury has found the original Oculus founders, Palmer Luckey and Brendan Iribe, used code and IP from ID Software (parent company ZeniMax), makers of Doom and Quake, to build the Rift VR headset and awarded damages of US$500 million.

Apple sues Qualcomm, joins the queue

Apple claims mega ARM chip maker Qualcomm “charges it at least five times more in payments that all the other cellular patent licensors we have agreements with combined". It also alleges extortion, so it is suing Qualcomm.
